Description
Spoiler image for my Irbis Astrea (Astral Snow Leopard) adoptables on Squiby! squiby.net/user/painlessart
These babies evolve to the adult stage at 25, except for the brown one that evolves at level 30.
The Irbis Astrea, or Astral Snow Leopard, is a winged feline. While they resemble Earth's more familiar snow leopards in many ways, there are differences other than the wings. The tail is unusually broad and flat and can be spread a bit extra in flight to act as a rudder. The bodies are small and the bones are fairly light like those of birds. Astral Snow Leopards have developed a somewhat organized social structure. Cooperation in hunting and defense of young and territory has led to a diversification of colors. Most unusual is how some of them exhibit variations of blue coloration while most of the others are shades of gray, black, white or brown. The fur is not pigmented blue, but, like common blue bird feathers, is microscopically structured to reflect blue light. This may be some sort of adaptation to the high levels of ultraviolet light found in the high elevations where these cats are found.
